Description of Services
Immigration Services:
Assistance with affirmative applications for immigration relief to individuals living in Brooklyn and Queens, including Naturalization/citizenship; Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA); Family reunification; Employment authorization; Political asylum; Visas for victims of crime or trafficking; Violence Against Women Act (VAWA); Temporary Protected Status (TPS), assistance to some immigrants in deportation removal proceedings.Assistance for Tenants:
Representation to Queens tenants with housing problems and questions, such as needed repairs and essential services, eviction notices and threats, housing court proceedings; helping organize tenant associations, leases and rent increases, succession rights, applications for SCRIE and DRIE; landlord threats and harassment.

Assistance for Workers:
Free advice and representation to low-wage workers city wide with problems such as, minimum wage and overtime pay violations; unsafe work conditions; discrimination and harassment.
