How The Service Works

“The LRIS maintains a list of attorneys who practice in the El Paso County area. When you contact the LRIS and state your problem briefly, giving the particular facts, you will be provided with a name and telephone number of an attorney best suited for your needs. You must contact the attorney to make an appointment. The LRIS cannot make your appointment. You will receive a 30 minute consultation for a fee of only $20.00.”

Limited Scope Representation

Limited scope representation is a way for a person to be able to afford legal help by limiting the amount of work an attorney does for them. This is also known as ”unbundled services.” In a limited scope arrangement, the attorney and client agree that the attorney will only do a certain list of things for the client.
