The Civil Practice Clinic undertakes a limited number of cases ONLY through referral from Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas or the Lubbock County Courts.
The Civil Practice Clinic also conducts a Night Court Divorce Project in cooperation with the Lubbock County Courts and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas to address concerns about the lack of access to the courts for low-income individuals seeking a divorce.

How to Apply

The Civil Practice Clinic does not take direct requests for legal assistance. You must contact Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas at 806.763.4557 for initial eligibility screening and to schedule an appointment. If appointments are not available, you will be referred to one of the LANWT sponsored pro bono clinics held in the community. Information on upcoming pro bono clinics will be provided.
