Description
The Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office gives grants to a statewide network of Local Consumer Programs (LCPs). These nonprofit programs handle many consumer complaints in their own regions of the state.
There are currently 18 LCPs. The LCPs give callers information about state and federal consumer protection laws. Also, they offer free, voluntary, phone-based mediation services to consumers who have filed complaints about problems they may have had with businesses.
