Combining the legacies and strengths of the Minnesota AIDS Project, Rainbow Health Initiative, and Training to Serve, JustUs Health is the state’s leading AIDS Service Organization (ASO) and a leader in advocacy, research, and education related to health issues confronting LGBTQ individuals, including older LGBTQ Minnesotans. Our legal team brings decades of collective experience in such areas as Social Security applications/appeals, estate planning, debtor/creditor issues, discrimination claims (particularly related to sexual orientation, gender identity, and HIV/disability), and health insurance appeals/advocacy involving coverage of transition-related care. Our staff counsel and represent hundreds of individuals every year on these or similar issues, and refer people to other providers where appropriate
