Wyoming Free Legal Answers

You can submit legal questions and get a response from a volunteer Wyoming lawyer.

Wyoming Children’s Law Center

Provides legal services to protect children’s safety and well-being by working with families, schools, and the courts.

Income Restrictions: Household income cannot be greater than $250,000 per year.

Cost: Free or reduced rates based on income.

Wyoming State Bar Modest Means Program

Provides low-cost legal assistance to individuals who do not qualify for free legal services, but cannot afford the expertise of lawyers at the standard rate.

 

Income Restrictions: Household income must be between 200% – 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

 

Cost: Participating lawyers agree to charge no more than $75 an hour and no more than a $500 retainer (if necessary). Filing fees and other out-of-pocket costs are paid by the client.
